The World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) is scheduled to take place at the City Centre Casino in Rosario, Argentina, from 17 to 25 October.
GGPoker’s parent company recently acquired WSOP from Caesars for $500m.
The event will feature 12 WSOP Gold Ring tournaments, with the Main Event requiring a buy-in of $1,100.
Participants have the opportunity to qualify for the Main Event through satellite tournaments hosted by GGPoker, starting at $1. This low entry point aims to allow a wide range of players to compete for a spot in the tournament, which is expected to attract competitors from various regions.
The tournament schedule includes several events leading up to the Main Event. On 17 October, the series begins with a Monster Stack Mystery Bounty tournament, followed by various No-Limit Hold’em (NLH) events and qualifiers for the Main Event.
The Main Event itself will run from 20 to 25 October, with multiple entry days and a progression to the final stages on 24 and 25 October.
In addition to the Main Event, the schedule features a High Roller tournament and other formats like the Uppercut KO Progressive and Turbo NLH. These events are reportedly designed to cater to players of different skill levels and preferences.
Earlier this year, GGPoker announced a $250m guaranteed prize pool for its World Festival Tournament Series, which ran from 5 May to 11 June. This series includes a range of buy-in levels and satellite options.
The City Centre Casino in Rosario is set to host the WSOP-C event, offering facilities for both players and spectators. The casino is known for accommodating major gaming events and is expected to provide a suitable venue for this series.
