Flat jockey Tom Marquand has joined The Tote as an ambassador.
He, 25, has ridden approximately 1,000 winners both domestically and internationally, including notable success in Australia and Hong Kong.
Among his triumphs are 10 Group 1s from four different nations.
He tied for second place in the 2022 British Flat Jockeys Championship (91 victories) with his wife Hollie Doyle.
Marquand will discuss his expectations for rides throughout the summer, including those scheduled for the 18 World Pool days in the UK and Ireland.
Marquand said: “I am thrilled to be teaming up with The Tote team as an ambassador to provide an exclusive insight into life as a flat jockey. I loved watching the content that The Tote filmed with Danny Mullins and I am excited to get going with the team as the flat season starts to take shape with the Derby and Royal Ascot just around the corner.”
Alex Frost, Chief Executive of The Tote, said: “We are excited to have Tom join the Tote team as our ambassador, alongside the brilliant Danny Mullins. Tom will provide racing fans with his thoughts on the rides he will have on the biggest race meetings of the summer.”
Marquand joins the group alongside Danny Mullins who has been Ambassador of The Tote since 2021.
UK Tote Group recently appointed Jon Knapman as Chief Commercial Officer (International) and David Hammond as Chief Commercial Officer for the UK.
These appointments were made to increase UK Tote Group’s domestic and international market reach.
