usintegrity

The casino became the 16th tribal venue to offer in-person sports betting in the state of Washington, when on 22 January 2022 it launched its sportsbook in collaboration with FanDuel.

USI will provide betting integrity services at the casino. Its technology is capable of monitoring betting patterns and can detect irregular activity through live data analysis.

Rion Ramirez, CEO, Port Madison Enterprises, commented: “We are very excited to be working with USI as we add a sportsbook, which only enhances our gaming offerings. Having USI as a partner ensures the safest experience for our guests, as USI has the ability to identify potentially suspicious wagering activity in real-time.”

The Suquamish Clearwater Casino is the first casino in the state to partner with FanDuel’s sportsbook. When it is fully operational, it will feature three live betting windows and 12 self-service terminals.

To enhance the customer experience, the dedicated area will have 17 TV screens, a sports lounge and seating for over 250 patrons.

Matthew Holt, CEO & Co-Founder, USI, said: “USI is proud to partner with Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort and assist with maintaining sports betting integrity as it launches its first sportsbook operation.

“We are looking forward to working with the superlative team at Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort. Its commitment to secure and trustworthy sports betting aligns with the integrity standards USI aims to uphold throughout the legalised sports betting market.”

Washington passed sports betting into state law on 25 March 2020, with five operators launching in-person sportsbooks since, including FanDuel.

There are currently no plans to legalise mobile sports betting in the state.
