Kristof Fahy leaves Chief Customer Officer role at Ladbrokes

Kristof Fahytof Fahy, Chief Customer Officer at Ladbrokes Coral, has stepped down after serving less than a year in the role.Fahy joined Labrokes in 2015, but it was just nine months ago, in November 2016, that he started in his current position as Chief Customer Officer.In a corporate statement, Ladbrokes Coral officially confirmed that Kristof Fahy will leave in September and the firm will not be looking for any replacement. “Following the successful integration of the marketing functions and the aligning of the marketing budgets to the Retail and Digital Executives, our Chief Customer Officer, Kristof Fahy has decided to leave the business and seek new opportunities.”Kristof Fahy took on the role after a difficult period for the gambling giant during which the company needed to reinvent its digital services.His departure follows the merger with market rival Coral in 2016, where he led combined marketing projects.Fahy had previously been Chief Marketing Officer at the Telegraph Media Group, and before that Chief Marketing Officer at William Hill.Ladbrokes says goodbye to veteran employeeLadbrokes veteran stalwart Roger Tull is now retiring after an incredible 46 years’ service.Tull had joined the betting firm at the tender age of 16 and remained in the corporation until today. Within the company, he was known as ‘Sports Controller’ for his ability to predict results. Anecdotally, Tull predicted Lewis Hamilton would become F1 world champion when he was only nine years old at the time.In a corporate statement, Labrokes bade goodbye to one of its most loyal employees.“He worked tirelessly for the Magic Sign, was incredibly loyal to the firm and he really is one of the good guys,” read a note from the firm.
