The UEFA Champions League returns for Matchday Two, and the matches are split eight and eight on Tuesday and Wednesday. Wednesday sees several heavyweight ties as the Group of Death, Group F, features clashes between Dortmund and Milan, and Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain. Other notable contests include Manchester City traveling to Leipzig and Barcelona heading to Portugal to take on Porto. Here are my top three bets for Wednesday’s action. And below we dive into Atletico Madrid vs. Feyenoord.

Wednesday’s Champions League Best Bets: Atletico Madrid vs. Feyenoord

Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbooks

Atletico Madrid (-150) vs. Feyenoord (+425), DRAW (+295) | 2.5 (-120/+100)

The Wednesday slate gets started with a pair of early matches as Atletico Madrid hosts Feyenoord and Antwerp takes on Shakhtar Donetsk. Both ties kick off at 12:45 p.m. ET, and I’ll be focusing on the former in this section. Atletico will be looking for its fourth straight victory when it hosts the Dutch side at Cívitas Metropolitano in the capital city of Spain.

I anticipate there being no shortage of goals on Wednesday afternoon in Madrid. While we know Atletico to be a very keen defensive side, they’re going to have their hands full as they host a surging Feyenoord team. The Rotterdam squad has won six consecutive matches and they’re unbeaten in their last eight overall (two draws). There has been a bunch of offensive support for Feyenoord as they’ve netted 26 goals over seven domestic matches in the Eredivisie, which translates to 3.7 tallies per contest.

On the flip side, I can’t see Atletico getting shut out on their own pitch €“ not in the Champions League. Diego Simeone’s men have found the back of the net 18 times over seven La Liga matches, which is second-best in the table (with an extra match in hand). I think both teams score at least once on Wednesday.

Bet: Both Teams To Score (-125)
