Circa Sports makes “speedy” recovery after Las Vegas flash floods

The gaming hub was affected by flooding on 28 July that caused damage to several properties, including Circa Resort & Casino, which houses a large sportsbook operation.

This incurred damage during the flash floods, but in only a matter of days, has been quickly repaired and is once again operational.

Videos posted to social media showed water coming through one of the sportsbook’s screens and spilling onto the floor.

But in a series of images published by Circa Sports on Twitter, this damage appears to have been fixed and the screen is back to normal.

The operator posted four pictures depicting its clean-up operation across Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Thursday’s photo shows water seeping through the sportsbook screen, but by the following day, this has been stopped, contained and work is clearly underway to repair any damage done.

The sportsbook’s carpeted floor also incurred damage during the floods, and in Friday’s picture, has been clearly removed pending replacement.

By Saturday, a new carpet is in place, and the screen has essentially been repaired. Finally, Sunday’s photo shows customers seated and enjoying Circa Sports’ offer like normal.

In its tweet, Circa Sports thanked its employees and everyone else involved in the recovery effort, writing: “Shout out to everyone involved in this weekend’s incredibly speedy flood recovery effort at our sportsbook at Circa. Thank you and great work.”

Other properties impacted by last Thursday’s floods include Planet Hollywood and Caesars Palace.
