Operator Mozzart has become the latest member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA). Mozzart’s Serbian business will now feed into the IBIA’s global integrity monitoring network.

There are currently around 50 companies and 125 sports betting brands in the IBIA, with partners such as FIFA and UEFA involved, with the common goal of combatting betting corruption.

CEO of Mozzart, Slobodan Prodanovic, said: “We are honoured to become part of a renowned global organization like IBIA and we are sure that our partnership will give rise to many constructive projects in the field of protecting the integrity of the sports betting industry.

“As a leader in the organization of games of chance in Southeastern Europe, we will always strive to respect the highest business standards, strengthen the regulated market and create a safe and reliable environment for our users.”

Meanwhile, IBIA CEO Khalid Ali added: “I am delighted that Mozzart’s Serbian business has decided to join IBIA and to work collaboratively with our growing global roster of operators committed to protecting consumers, betting markets and sporting events from betting corruption.

“Mozzart’s scope of operation and market penetration will be of significant benefit for IBIA’s leading global betting integrity monitoring network. IBIA welcomes Mozzart’s commitment to sports betting integrity and looks forward to working with it.”

In other IBIA news, last month, the association reported in its Q3 2023 report that 50 suspicious betting alerts were identified across IBIA members’ global businesses, a decrease of 41% when compared to Q3 total for 2022, which saw 85 alerts.
